The legendary House of Blues on the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood, Calif., closed its doors last night after a performance by Steel Panther featuring special guest appearances by Miley Cyrus, Billy Ray Cyrus and others.

Billy Ray helped the band cover Def Leppard’s “Pour Some Sugar on Me” while Miley writhed around, acting inappropriately sexy for a girl whose father was mere inches away on the same stage. She grabbed her crotch several times, stuck out her now infamous tongue and also got extremely friendly with a scarf.

Apparently, Miley didn’t plan on getting up onstage, but after the audience chanted “Miley sing,” she just had to oblige, reported Blabbermouth.

Other celebrities who came out to say farewell to the iconic music venue and sing with Steel Panther one last time included former porn star Ron Jeremy, Extreme guitarist Nuno Bettencourt, comedian Dane Cook and *NSYNC’s Joey Fatone, according to Noise11.

Steel Panther had a Monday night residency at the HOB for many years, playing hundreds of gigs. “The House of Blues was the best-sounding room, had the best lighting, the best sound. It’s set up like a theater, so there are no bad sight lines,” said the band's frontman Michael Starr in an interview with the Wall Street Journal.

A Saudi Arabian developer plans to tear down the HOB and build a luxury hotel and condos on the site by the end of the year, reported Fox 11 Los Angeles.

Meanwhile, the House of Blues hopes to find a new location in the Los Angeles-area within the next 18 months.
