Rosie Perez will exit "The View" after one season, according to Deadline.

Perez joined the ABC talk show in September with new co-host Nicolle Wallace and Rosie O'Donnell, who returned to the program after co-hosting in season 10. They joined Whoopi Goldberg who slid into the moderator position after Barbara Walters retired last season.

"Rosie wants to thank ABC for their graciousness and their flexibility with her schedule during the Broadway run," Perez's rep told Deadline on Tuesday.

The 50-year-old actress took a short-term break in January to rehearse for Larry David's Broadway play "Fish in the Dark," which had been planned before "The View" hired her. Speculation on her absence during that time forced ABC to issue a statement confirming her status as a co-host.

Perez follows O'Donnell, who left the show earlier this season due to personal issues. "The View" recently replaced her with Raven-Symoné.

Talks to extend Wallace's contract have just begun, according to Deadline. She brings the only conservative voice to the daytime program.

Perez will likely address her exit on Wednesday's episode. She will shoot her final episode in August, the finale for season 18.
