Aaron Hernandez photo with a gun has been published online and has been making the rounds after the NFL star was slapped with a murder charge Wednesday for the murder of  Odin Lloyd.

According to TMZ Sports, the photo was taken in 2009 while he was attending the University of Florida.  At the time of the photo, he was playing football for the university team. Hernandez is seen wearing what appears to be a Livestrong bracelet by former cycling legend Lance Armstrong.

Prosecutors revealed Hernandez ordered Odin Lloyd out of a rental car, stood over him and then shot him five times with a .45-caliber handgun. Aaron Hernandez was denied bail at his appeal on Thursday, with judge Renee Dupuis calling the case the prosecution has made against the former New England Patriots tight end "very, very strong," albeit circumstantial.

During the hearing, Bristol County Assistant District Attorney William McCauley introduced some new evidence. McCauley said investigators have reason to believe that the firearm that was used to kill Odin Lloyd was a Glock, because Glocks have "a rifling system that is different from most firearms." The gun Hernandez is holding in the picture is also a Glock.

Hernandez was arrested at 8:47 a.m. Wednesday and taken from his home in handcuffs by seven state police officers, according to the New York Daily News.

Hernandez was denied bail and is also being tied to a double murder that took place in Boston last summer.  Hernandez also faces five weapons count, according to The Associated Press.

Shortly after Aaron Hernandez's arrest, the New England Patriots dropped him from the team.
