Aaron Hernandez's fiancée, Shayanna Jenkins, cried in the court room on Thursday as a Superior Court judge denied him bail. Based on the arraignment and bail hearing, Jenkins could be called to testify in her fiancee's trial for the murder of Odin Lloyd.

1) Jenkins, 24, is Hernandez's high school sweetheart. They graduated together in 2007 from Bristol Central High. On November 6, 2012, they became parents to a baby girl named Avielle Janelle, Heavy.com reports. Defense attorney Jamie Sultan said during Wednesday's bail hearing that Hernandez lives with his fiancée, Jenkins, and their eight-month-old daughter in North Attleboro, Mass.

2) Jenkins' sister dated Odin Lloyd. Hernandez apparently first met Lloyd through the sister.

3) During both the arraignment and bail hearing this week, prosecutor Bill McCauley admitted Jenkins had been cooperating with police until Hernandez told her to stop.

4) She isn't a suspect, but could be called on to testify in Hernandez's trial. If she and Hernandez get married before the trial, however, spousal privilege would shield her from testifying, according to NBC Sports.

5) Hernandez is charged with murder and five gun-related offenses. He faces life in prison, if convicted. On Wednesday, a judge denied him bail. Hernandez will sit in jail until the case goes to trial, which could be more than a year.

She cried in the court room when the judge upheld the decision to hold him without bail.

CLARIFICATION (6/28/13): If Jenkins chooses to testify against Hernandez, spousal privilege wouldn't prohibit her.
