There have been many car recalls 2014. Now, Porsche is issuing one for its 918 Spyder sports car because of problems with parts of the chassis.

The recall covers 205 units of the 918 Spyder, 43 of which are located in North America, according to Insider Car News. There are currently only 918 units of the vehicle available around the world, with 297 of them available in the U.S.

This is the second recall Porsche has issued this year, with the first being in July to fix the rear control arms and prevent the possibility of them failing when drivers take the car for a race.

The $845,000 Spyder is a plug-in hybrid sports car and is one of the most powerful sports ever made, Tech Times reported.

Porsche discovered the issue with the chassis while conducting quality testing in-house, and it says it is issuing this new recall as a "precautionary measure" because it can't permanently guarantee the faulty parts. The German automaker has yet to receive any complaints connected to the issue.

The affected 918 Spyders will have their chassis parts replaced, and owners will be contacted by Porsche representatives. The company will have fixes scheduled by appointment starting next year and completed in around two days.
