Rachel Berry and Kurt Hummel will have their work cut out for them when they try to reboot the McKinley High glee club in the final season of "Glee."
"The new glee club has officially begun," Kurt (Chris Colfer) announces in the latest "Glee" promo.
He and Rachel (Lea Michele) unveiled the only two members of their new group to their fellow alums Santana (Naya Rivera) and Quinn Fabrey (Dianna Agron). Santana was less than impressed.
"Oh no, I think I've made a mistake," she says.
The new teaser also harkens back to the "Glee" pilot. Rachel receives a red cherry slushie to the face and Sue Sylvester oversees an outlandish performance by her cheerleading Cheerios.
Blaine (Darren Criss) appears poised to take over his old singing group, The Dalton Academy Warblers, and Puck leads a brightly-colored dance-off in the cafeteria.
In the first promo for the final season, Rachel Berry (Lea Michele) and Kurt Hummel (Chris Colfer) told Sue about their plans to restore the glee club at McKinley High.
"You two have just entered the Thunderdome," Sue warns them. "You will beg for death."
The preview teaser also had Rachel and Blaine (Darren Criss) revisiting The Warblers, Santana and Brittany back with the Cheerios and Lea Michele channeling her TV mom Idina Menzel for a rousing rendition of "Let It Go."
Fox will release the audio track of Michele's "Let It Go" on Dec. 3, according to E! News.
"Glee" returns with a two-hour premiere on Friday, Jan. 9 at 8 p.m. The sixth and final season will have a shortened 13-episode season that will focus on the original core group sans Cory Monteith, who died of a drug overdose in 2013.
