Gabrielle Union and her new husband Dwyane Wade could be expecting their first child together. According to Media Take Out, the "Being Mary Jane" actress is a few months along. The site claims several sources close to the couple confirmed the news.

"They were NOT even trying to get pregnant, it just happened, and they're VERY happy about it," the source said. "It's very early, so don't expect an announcement until she's 3 months."

This will be the first child for Union and the fourth for Wade. He has two sons Zaire, 12, and Zion, 7, with ex-wife Siohvaughn Funches and one-year-old Xavier with Aja Metoyer. Wade and Metoyer briefly dated while he and Union were on a break. Wade also has custody of his 12-year-old nephew Dahveon.

Last year during an interview with "Extra" Union opened up about motherhood saying that she was finally ready to have a child of her own.

"I always knew I was going to wait really long, and I followed the Halle Berry example, and I think in the next couple years, if I'm lucky, I will make that a reality, hopefully," she said, according to Eurweb.

The 42-year-old actress also said she believes there is nothing wrong with women putting off having kids to later in life so they can focus on their careers.

"I think the industry that we're in, it's not taboo to be an older mom. You're not alone. There's such a huge support to start a family a little bit older, and it's okay," Union said. "I knew I wasn't going to be the kind of parent I would want to be. I would be way too selfish and resent having to miss out on things. Now, I'm in a place where I'm happy and still wanting adventure, but I want part of that adventure to include a child."

Union and Wade got married on Aug. 30 in Miami, Fla. at the Chateau Artisan mansion in front of family and friends. Wade proposed last December.
