It has been announced that the "Naruto" manga will go out with a bang, and a big one at that: a double chapter will be featured in the 50th 2014 issue of Weekly Shonen Jump. The 49th issue made the announcement, according to Anime News Network.

The finale of the iconic comic series will be on November 10, spanning 44 pages in length, and the second half will be in full color. Masashi Kishimoto certainly does not disappoint - even when things are about to end, he does it right. If only more mangaka did their grand finales like this...

**Spoilers: Read further at your own discretion**

This week's chapter marks the conclusion of the epic battle between Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha. The two young ninja warriors' duel has ended in a draw (technically). They are both still alive (and thoroughly beaten), but Sasuke has finally conceded the battle to his life-long rival. But this battle has changed the two men's lives forever, as well as their bodies. We will not say anything more than that.

**End of spoiler**

There are still some unanswered questions, including:

Does this mean there will be a one-week break next week in order to deliver the double chapter at its best (or will the manga end on Chapter 701 instead of 700)?

What will become of Naruto and Sasuke, now that their personal war has ended?

Who will become the next Hokage?

Once again, only time will tell.

UPDATE:

One of the above questions has been answered:

The manga WILL end with Chapter 700 (which will be the color chapter), meaning there will likely be a one-week break, but we will find out for sure very soon.
