Hugh Jackman captioned his recent Instagram photo with one word after he underwent a third surgery to remove a skin cancer lesion: SUNSCREEN.

The "Wolverine" star had another basal cell carcinoma removed from his body this week. Jackman had similar surgeries last November and this past May, both on his nose.

Jackman's rep confirmed he was "okay now" after seeking treatment, according to People. The basal cell carcinoma is the most common type of skin cancer, and is easily treatable if caught early. The lesion do tend to reoccur in the same area of removal once a person has sought treatment.

He covered the previous surgery scars with a Band-Aid. He didn't seem to mind wearing it on the red carpet for "X-Men: Days of Future Past," this past spring. A Band-Aid was not visible in a selfie Jackman posted the later in the day.

The Broadway vet accompanied his one-word caption with a photo that read, "Everybody's Free (To Wear Sunscreen)," the title of a spoken-word song by Baz Luhrmann, based on the 1997 essay "Wear Sunscreen." After his previous surgeries, Jackman had posted selfies showing his bandaged nose.

Jackman's wife encouraged him to have a "mark" on his body checked the first time in November. He discovered it was a basal cell carcinoma and encouraged his Instagram followers to seek treatment if they notice the same marks on their bodies.

"Please don't be foolish like me. Get yourself checked. And USE sunscreen!!!" he captioned his post-treatment selfie in November.

Jackman will next appear in the Broadway play "The River." He will star in the limited 12-week run starting Oct. 31. The production will be Jackman's first straight play since 2009.
