Characters from Disney hit animated film “Frozen” may not be featured in “Kingdom Hearts 3.”

According to a Famitsu Weekly interview translated by KH Insider, “Kingdom Hearts 3” Director Tetsuya Nomura explained the title’s development is moving along, but his Co-Director Tai Yasue’s quotes about “Frozen” were taken out of context.

Yasue’s comments about “Frozen” were reportedly miscommunicated and Square Enix doesn’t have plan to include Elsa, Anna, Olaf or Kristoff.

During an interview with Nova Crystallis back in July, Yasue claimed he wanted to create a “Frozen”-inspired world in “Kingdom Hearts 3.”

"We have to discuss with Disney about how we're going to proceed with each world to make sure they agree with our vision and feel it fits," Yasue said. "On a personal level...I would really like Frozen. The snow, ice formations and story are very magical, the music too of course. I saw it with my daughter and it was very enjoyable."

“Kingdom Hearts 3” hasn’t released any new details regarding the title since their appearance at E3 2013. However, KH Insider published reported details from the upcoming issue of Famitsu Weekly.

“In the new worlds for KINGDOM HEARTS III, the intensity in battles have been increased to be more difficult,” according to KH Insider. “The conversation between the two mysterious figures is at least 2 minutes long or more.”

“…[Developers] are experiencing difficulties regarding the engine, so instead will be proceeding with scenario writing and world selections. We have also created new costumes for Sora and Riku.”
