Either Ryan Murphy has plans to add a very terrifying character to Season 4 of "American Horror Story" or he's teasing us. On Monday (Sept. 15), FX released another teaser trailer for "Freak Show" featuring a little girl grabbing the hand of a very tall man.

The top part of the man's body is not shown in the video but the scene bares a close resemblance to a popular photo on the Internet of Slender Man, a mythological creature that prays on little children. The creepy character was thrust into mainstream media after two 12-year-old Milwaukee girls allegedly tried to kill another young girl to show their dedication to Slender Man. According to reports, the girls claim they first learned about Slender Man on the site creepypasta.wikia.com.

FX captioned the teaser trailer "We come in all shapes and guises... #WirSindAlleFreaks." Season 4 of "American Horror Story" titled "Freak Show" centers around the year 1952 when a group of circus "freaks" arrive to small town Jupiter, Fla.

"A troupe of curiosities has just arrived to town, coinciding with the strange emergence of a dark entity that savagely threatens the lives of townsfolk and freaks alike," an official description reads. "This is the story of the performers and their desperate journey of survival amidst the dying world of the American carny experience."

FX also released titles and official descriptions for the first two episodes:

Episode 1 (Oct. 8) is titled "Monster Among Us": One of the only surviving sideshows in the country, struggles to stay in business during the dawning era of television. When police make a terrifying discovery at a local farmhouse, the eccentric purveyor of the freak show, will see an opportunity that will lead her troupe either to their salvation or ruin.

Episode 2 (Oct. 15) is titled "Massacres and Matinees": A citywide curfew threatens to shut down the Freak Show. A strongman from Ethel's troubled past arrives at camp. Gloria arranges a terrifying play date for Dandy. The Tattler Twins revel a talent that could knock Elsa from the spotlight.
