Taylor Swift's rumored "enemy" may have sent a cryptic dig at the singer on her official Twitter account.

Swift recently landed the cover of Rolling Stone magazine, where the singer talks about a song she wrote about another female artist on her latest album "1989."

The country-turned-pop singer claimed it took her years to realize the fellow musician wasn't her friend and describes her animosity towards her in the track "Bad Blood."

"For years, I was never sure if we were friends or not," Swift told Rolling Stone. "She would come up to me at awards shows and say something and walk away, and I would think, 'Are we friends, or did she just give me the harshest insult of my life?'"

However, the last straw for Swift was when the unnamed female artist attempted to "sabotage" an arena tour she was planning. The singer told Rolling Stone her "enemy" tried to hire her associates and ruin the tour.

Swift claims she's actively trying to avoid this person, which is strange considering no one knew she was feuding with anyone until she brought it up. Swift goes on in the Rolling Stone feature to explain she intentionally wrote in "zingers" to get to the female artist.

"Sometimes the lines in a song are lines you wish you could text message somebody in real life," Swift said. "I would just be constantly writing all these zingers - like, 'Burn. That would really get her.' And I know people are going to obsess over who it's about, because they think they have all my relationships mapped out. But there's a reason there are not any overt call-outs in that song. My intent was not to create some gossip-fest. I wanted people to apply it to a situation where they felt betrayed in their own lives."

Swift may have not intended to start a "gossip-fest," but one popstar's cryptic tweet after the country cutie may have given away her secret. Singer Katy Perry posted the following tweet:

Perry and Swift have been photographed together multiple times at events. They also share an ex-boyfriend in common, singer John Mayer.
