Stan Lee isn’t sure when the Marvel Studios’ “Black Panther” movie will come out despite confirming the film is in production.

Lee attended the Salt Lake Comic Con where he was about the upcoming movie, according to Comic Book. The Marvel co-creator isn’t sure where in the studios’ movie lineup the release date falls.

“Oh, I wish I knew,” Lee told Comic Book. “I love the Black Panther. I know that they’re figuring out how to do the movie. I don’t think it’s scheduled yet, but be patient, because sooner or later the Black Panther will strike.”

Lee originally revealed to a panel audience at the Fan Expo Canada the “Black Panther” film was in the works when he was asked about a possible “Black Widow” film.

The Marvel co-creator explained a “Black Widow” solo film was highly unlikely at the moment, as the studios are busy developing other franchises.

“We haven’t made a Black Widow movie but she’s been in some of our movies, and she will be featured more prominently as we move forward,” Lee said, according to Comic Book Resources.

“And the chances are she will have her own movie because eventually all the superheroes are going to have their own movies,” he continued. “They are already working on Ant-Man, Dr. Strange and the Black Panther and there are others I am not allowed to talk about.”
