Ubisoft has announced their Gamescom 2014 lineup revealing an “Assassin’s Creed Rogue” demo will be available for attendees.

“Assassin’s Creed: Rogue” will follow the story of Shay Patrick Cormac, who becomes a Templar after being betrayed while on a mission for the Brotherhood.

“Set in the 18th century during the Seven Years War, Rogue completes the North America saga that began with Assassin’s Creed III and Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag. From loyal Assassin brother to the Templar’s favored hunter, Shay will travel through the arctic North Atlantic Ocean, the Appalachian River Valley and a bustling New York City on his mission to destroy the Assassins,” according to UbiBlog.

Gamescom 2014 will be held at Cologne, Germany from Aug. 13 to Aug. 17. Ubisoft will have a booth at Hall 6, space A021. Along with “Assassin’s Creed: Rogue,” the gaming studio will feature “Assassin’s Creed: Unity,” “Far Cry 4,” “The Crew”, “Just Dance 2014” and more. Ubisoft Chairmen and CEO Yves Guillemot recently talked to the company’s official blog about the development process for “Unity.” Though the gaming studio is excited about its co-op mode, developers made sure to take advantage of next-gen technology to improve on their gameplay mechanics in “Unity.”

"It's a game that takes full advantage of the new gen," Guillemot told UbiBlog. "It's really a good demonstration of what those machines can do. And people are amazed. They didn't expect those machines to deliver that level of graphics and animation quality, the depth of the number of people that can move in the environment, and so on. It's helping the brand to have a new beginning with totally different possibilities."

“Assassin’s Creed: Rogue” will be released for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on Nov. 11.
