With only a few more weeks to go until the highly anticipated birth of the royal baby, Prince William is very excited about becoming a father.

According to People, the Prince "is looking forward to being a dad. He's very excited about it," said Seyi Obakin, the owner of Centrepoint, a charity that benefits young homeless people.

Obakin was lucky enough to spend some quality time with the 30-year-old father-to-be when he made a surprise visit to Centrepoint's Bruce House in London. The Prince is very involved in the charity and spoke to residents who are learning to become entrepreneurs and establish other important skills so they can help their own communities.

"They talked about music, movies, fun things," Obakin said. "He has a genuine concern for how life is like for them as the country is going through this recession."

"They had some products there that he was very happy to indulge in," the chief executive who explains the young people have began prospering by selling chocolates and smoothies.

The Prince had picked up the paddle and began to play with some of the residents and Obakin saw how the Prince is taking after his late mother, Princess Diana. He explained that the Prince "appreciates that if he did this kind of thing in public he wouldn't get the same quality of conversation he wanted with the young people."

Late last year, the Prince and wife announced they were expecting their first child together with the expected due date sometime this July. Since then, speculation has run a muck on whether the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are having a boy or a girl.

It was recently reported that the Prince will be by his 33-year-old wife's side during the birth. The location is not confirmed however reports indicate it will be in the private wing of St. Mary's hospital.
