It seems that the "X-Factor" is returning to its roots with Sharon Osbourne returning to the reality competition. Billboard reports that Osbourne will be making her return to the U.K version of the singing reality competition in its 10th season later this year.

"The Talk" host will replace Tulisa Contostavlos and will join Gary Barlow, Nicole Scherzinger and Louis Walsh on the judging panel. Dermot O'Leary will return to hosting duties as well. Osbourne was one of the original judges on the show, previously appearing on the show from 2004 to 2007. 

"Three words I never thought I'd say: Welcome back Sharon!" "X-Factor" creator and judge Simon Cowell said.

 "I couldn't be happier about coming back for the 10th anniversary of X Factor," Osbourne said. "I can't wait to give Gary Barlow a big hug, sit next to the gorgeous Nicole, and of course throw water on dear Louis. Yay!"

"We're delighted to confirm our fantastic panel, who will bring an incredible combined wealth of experience to our 10th series of The X Factor." Director of television at ITV, Peter Fincham said "I know I speak for all of us when I say we're looking forward to bringing viewers a brilliant series this autumn."

Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne have been at the center of media attention when reports suggested the pair were splitting up however the two were spotted at an event with their daughter Kelly Osbourne looking happier than ever. 

As for the U.S "X-Factor", auditions have begun for the third season of the show in Charleston, S.C. Cowell and Demi Lovato will be returning to the panel while Kelly Rowland and Paulina Rubio will be replacing the spots that were left vacant by Britney Spears and L.A. Reid.
