Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's wedding is only days away! The couple will say "I do" privately in Los Angeles before heading out to Paris for the big wedding ceremony. According to Hollywood Life, West and Kardashian will get married at justice of the peace and are expected to pick up their marriage license sometime next week.

"They're headed out to Paris within a week, so they'll get their license first," the source said.

The couple decided to tie-the-knot in L.A. first because a French law requires that at least one person has to have lived in France at least 40 days prior to a wedding taking place.

A source told British newspaper The Sun (via the Daily Mail) that West and Kardashian were going to accommodate the law by legalizing their marriage beforehand in the United States.

"They could face the humiliation of the wedding being cancelled at the last minute," a source told the newspaper. "So they've decided to get married behind closed doors in Los Angeles before they fly out to France."

It's not clear if the E! Network will film the secret ceremony but the couple will allow cameras to capture their Paris nuptials. Reportedly the wedding will air separately from "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" in a two-part special.

"They have filmed some things already to be on the upcoming special and will film stuff afterwards as well," a source told Hollywood Life. "But the Kim and Kanye special will be a stand-alone show on E!"

"The event is way too important to only broadcast on 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians,'" another source told the site.

There have also been reports that West and his reality star bride-to-be inked another wedding deal and will have Vogue magazine publish some of the first photos from the wedding.
