"Game of Thrones" actress Gwendoline Christie will be stepping into the role of Commander Lyme in "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay-Part 2."

Christie, who plays Brienne on the hit HBO series, is replacing "American Horror Story" actress Lily Rabe, who couldn't not fulfill her commitment on set due to a scheduling conflict, according to Deadline.

"Rabe was forced to drop out due to a scheduling conflict with a previous commitment to 'Much Ado About Nothing at Shakespeare' in the Park," Deadline reports.  "Commander Lyme, one of the leaders of District 13, hails from District 2 and is a past winner in a previously unknown installment of Hunger Games. Christie is a badass warrior on Game Of Thrones, who save the life of Jaime Lanniseter and is incredibly convincing in that role."

"The Hunger Games" production team is still mourning the loss of Philip Seymour Hoffman.  The 46-year-old actor died of a drug overdose on Feb. 2.   "Mockingjay" director Francis Lawrence spoke to USA Today back in March regarding how the cast and crew were handling their loss.

"It was obviously very rough for all of us," Lawrence told USA Today. "[Hoffman] was a friend. He was an amazing actor, an iconic actor. He was someone I really looked up to."

"We shut down for a day to give people time to deal with the sudden shock of it all. And to try and sort of figure things out a little bit," he added.

Lawrence briefly commented on how much of the remaining films he was able to complete, confirming he had filmed most of his scenes.

"There was very, very little that was left," Lawrence told USA Today.  "Even if (Hoffman) had a number of days left, most of those moments were appearances in other scenes. Most of his dialogue was done."

"Mockingjay: Part 1" is slated to hit theaters Nov. 21, while "Mockingjay: Part 2" will be released on Nov. 20, 2015.
