With the "Batman vs. Superman" film currently in production, Ben Affleck is working overtime to get into shape for his batsuit.

Affleck's personal trainer, Rehan Jalali, has kept fans updated about Batfleck's workout progress on his Twitter account. According to Jahali's latest tweets, Affleck is gaining a lot of muscle.

"Update: Batman is getting Large! He's working very hard! #Dedication #Excited #DarkKnight #BatFleck #TheSixPackDietPlan," Jalali wrote.

Affleck isn't the only actor who's been hitting the gym to get into superhero shape. "Batman vs. Superman" actress Gal Gadot has been working out to make sure her physique is Wonder Woman armor ready. Gadot recently spoke to E! News about her fitness routine.

"I just keep active-everything that's challenging me, everything that I feel like doing," Gadot told E! News. "It's not like I'm only TRX or Pilates. I do sports."

The actress revealed she leans towards TRX during her training because she likes the "whole body" workout. As far as her diet's concerned, Gadot is all about balance and indulging in her cravings every once in a while.

"I try to eat healthy," Gadot told E! News. "But sometimes though, I eat cheeseburgers. That's good for the soul. I make sure to balance everything out. I drink tons of water."

Gadot and Affleck have both faced backlash since the production announced their casting in "Batman vs. Superman." Actor Josh Brolin recently revealed to Yahoo! he passed on the Batman role, but couldn't believe what some were saying about Affleck.

"People were so disrespectful, How can you blame an actor for acting? I understand you're a fan, but people forget that actors are human," Brolin told Yahoo. "When you're sitting in front of a computer it's easy to go, 'Well, I wish he would die. Send.' But somebody's going to read that. Their kids are going to read it and the wife is going to read it. We're so computer-oriented that we forget."

"Batman vs. Superman" will be released to theaters on May 6, 2016.
