Screen Rant reports that an insider told Variety that Warner Bros. is pushing back the release date for "Batman Vs. Superman" again. The film was originally supposed to hit theaters in 2015 but was changed to May 6, 2016, the same day Marvel is releasing "Captain America 3."

There were rumors that Marvel would back out of the superhero showdown but Marvel Studios President of Production Kevin Feige announced on Mar. 13 that the studio would not change their release date because they had it first.

Well, it looks like Warner Bros. has caved but it might not be for the reason you're thinking. According to the report, Warner Bros. decided they are going to release "Man of Steel 2" at a later date so they can give Wonder Woman a chance to have her own solo movie first.

"That's right. Gal Gadot will be leading her own Wonder Woman film and it's being fast-tracked for a fall 2015 release, with writer David S. Goyer directing and Zack Snyder producing," Screen Rant writes. "Wonder Woman is going to get her own film before sharing the screen with Batman and Superman the following year."

The site claims that the Wonder Woman project will be released in 2015 with "Batman Vs. Superman" hitting theaters the following year. As exciting as this news may sound, Screen Rant's story was only a (very good) April Fool's prank. It was probably one of many, "BvS" fans have stumbled across today.

In real Batman news, Gadot (who really is playing Wonder Woman) recently spoke to E! News about her superhero workout. The 28-year-old former model, who has shared some pictures from her early morning sessions, said she likes to stay active.

"Everything that's challenging me, everything that I feel like doing," She told E!. "It's not like I'm only TRX or Pilates. I do sports."

She did say that TRX is her favorite type of workout "because everything's working your whole body." The intense exercise was developed by a former Navy SEAL and is designed to use a person's body weight and gravity to build strength, flexibility and balance.

Besides hitting the gym, Gadot said she takes her diet very seriously and tires her best to eat healthy.

"But sometimes though, I eat cheeseburgers. That's good for the soul. I make sure to balance everything out. I drink tons of water," she said.

Gadot joins Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman and Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor.
