Ben Affleck is apparently hard at work to transform himself into the "biggest, leanest, baddest Batman" ever, Batman News reports. The actor's trainer, Rehan Jalali, gave fans a little update on Affleck's progress tweeting: "Quick Update: Met w/Batman and Operation Biggest/Leanest/Baddest Batman Eva is on schedule! #DarkKnight."

Affleck worked with Jalali to get in shape for his 2010 role in "The Town," in which he played a bank robber who falls in love with the key witness. Back in January, Jalali posted a picture with Affleck with the caption: "Getting Batman more pumped than ever! Batfleck #Fitness #SixPackDietPlan."

Even though fans begged the celebrity trainer to dish on what kind of fitness and diet regimen he has the actor on, Jalali won't reveal his secrets. However, Affleck has been photographed lately looking toned and buff. Affleck isn't the only "Man of Steel 2" cast member getting in shape for the superhero flick.

Actress Gal Gadot posted a couple photos showing off her muscles after an early morning workout. Gadot was cast in the film as Wonder Woman.

"There's nothing like a good workout in the morning... Love it! You?" she captioned one of the photos as she flexed her muscles.

In other Batman news, there are rumors claiming that the superhero film is moving up its release date after Marvel Studios President of Production Kevin Feige announced that Marvel will not be moving their currently unnamed movie from its May 6, 2016 release date. "Batman Vs. Superman" is also scheduled to be released on May 6, 2016.

According to Comicbook.com, rumors began surfacing claiming that Warner Bros. is contemplating whether to give the Zack Snyder film an earlier box office date. The rumor reportedly originated form the Brazilian website, Judao. Sources told the site that Warner Bros. Brazil plans to release the movie on Apr. 28, 2016, with a U.S. date set for Apr. 29, 2016.

Sources told the site that Warner Bros. Brazil is waiting for an official confirmation but if the rumor is true that gives "Batman Vs. Superman" a one week lead over Marvel's film.
