Sercan Sulun, PlayStation's Eurasian software market manager, may have accidentally leaked information about "The Last of Us" for next-gen consoles.

Sulun was talking to CNN Türk when he let it slip "The Last of Us" would be released to the PlayStation 4 this summer.

"There is no information about a new The Last of Us game but I can share this knowledge; as of this summer, The Last of Us will be on the PS4. Both on PSN and physically," Sulun told CNN, according to a translation published by IGN.  "The PS4 version will also include the DLC so you will be able to play 'Left Behind' as well."

Unfortunately, Sulun didn't confirm if Naughty Dog is planning to create a second installment for "The Last of Us" franchise. However, Naughty Dog Creative Director Neil Druckmann told Eurogamer back in February if the studio were to create a sequel, they would revamp the title's story line and gameplay.

"We just wrapped up Left Behind, and Bruce Straley, the game director, and I have been doing this for over four years now. So it's just time for a break, and to recharge the batteries," Druckmann told Eurogamer.

"We have started brainstorming some stuff," Druckmann added. "To be honest, some of them are sequel ideas, and some of them are brand new IP - we've spent the last few weeks brainstorming new IP. So we have to get some good steps and see... It's kind of like how we approached Left Behind. Can we tell people a story that's really worth telling, and that's not repeating itself? And if we can't, where can we get inspired - what is something that's really going to challenge us, and push storytelling in this medium forward?"
