"Indiana Jones" producers deny rumor claiming the franchise is looking to replace Harrison Ford with Bradley Cooper.

Digital Spy reports a spokesperson from Lucasfilm confirmed there has not been a recast of "Indiana Jones" and the production isn't looking for a new male lead.

Frank Marshall, an "Indiana Jones" producer, took to his Twitter account to clear up the confusion caused by The Latino Review's report, later adding a tongue-in-check remark about Katy Perry not being in the film.

"Due to the ridiculous rumors that keep popping up, like agents pipe dreams, I will stop commenting on our projects until I have real news," Marshall wrote.

The Latino Review report claimed the was a time window in which Ford had to complete the production, or the franchise would have to take another route to create "Indiana Jones 5" and recast their lead:

And who just might be one of the actors that the studio is looking at ? The word is that they are looking at several but Bradley Cooper is at the top of the list.

As to who might be writing the next Indy? We are hearing that Frank Darabont might be taking a crack at the franchise once again. All we heard is that Darabont pitched an idea, what that idea is, I have no clue as our source wouldn't say.

Let's also get it straight, COOPER doesn't have the role or signed the deal, it's just someone who they are looking at to play the role.

However, Ain't It Cool News reports Darapont isn't involved with the production and hasn't been approached to do the next Indy film.

"I have not pitched an idea for a proposed Indiana Jones movie, nor has anybody approached me with such an idea," Darapont told AICN. "The inaccurate report on Latino Review was the first I'd heard of it."
