In this photo illustration, the download page for the TikTok app is displayed on an Apple iPhone on August 7, 2020 in Washington, DC. On Thursday evening, President Donald Trump signed an executive order that bans any transactions between the parent company of TikTok, ByteDance, and U.S. citizens due to national security reasons.

Associated Press confirmed that the article claiming that the UN forces Christians to accept MAPs is fake. It all started after a website known for spreading misinformation posted an article about the report of Victor Madrigal-Borloz, the UN independent expert on sexual orientation and gender identity.

In the UN official's report, he said that the freedom of religion can co-exist with LGBTQ+ equality. If you will read the entire report, Madrigal-Borloz didn't mention anything about pedophilia. Full Fact, a British fact-checking website, also reiterated that the UN didn't urge Christians to accept pedophiles.

Full Fact said that the fake article was posted by the People's Voice blog. The organization added that this U.S.-based website is linked to YourNews Wire, another site known for spreading online misinformation.

If you have a friend, a family member, or other people you know who still believes the fake article about the UN, you can send them this article so they will be informed that it's fake news.
