A Chicago woman has filed a lawsuit against Netflix and the directors of Kanye West documentary 'Jeen-Yuhs,' alleging that the video exploited her.

According to TMZ, Cynthia Love filed a lawsuit against Netflix and filmmakers Coodie Simmons and Chike Ozah on Monday, saying the filmmakers and studio both abused her with the documentary release.

The Chicago lady said she first appeared in Kanye West's 'Through the Wire' music video, released in 2003. Both Simmons and Ozah directed the music video.

The music video, which begins with Love dancing inside a restaurant, was supposedly Kanye West's breakout success. She alleges she received $20 for her appearance in the song video.

Love claims the tape has caused her mental pain and ruined her reputation. She claims that her look signifies a portion of her history that she wants to leave behind. The Chicago woman seeks $30,000 in damages from the producers and Netflix.

According to Variety, the documentary will air later this year on BBC Two. It will focus on all of the controversial events that the Donda rapper was responsible for, particularly "Ye's controversial campaign to run as a candidate in the 2024 US Presidential election at a time when his behavior has sparked outrage and a re-evaluation of his place in popular culture."

By "behavior," they're most likely referring to the rapper's recent anti-Semitic remarks. The new documentary will be fronted by British and BAFTA-winning investigative journalist Mobeen Azhar, who will peel back the layers on how a once-revered rap star and pop culture icon degenerated in his stature and standing with fans and the entertainment industry at large.

In February 2022, Netflix released 'jeen-yuhs: A Kanye Trilogy,' a three-part docuseries. That year, he published his 30-minute documentary, which many found perplexing because it did little to address his previous issues. It ended up being a disorganized and fairly chaotic look into his life.

Despite a prior unsuccessful candidacy and a recent anti-semitism issue, the 'All Of The Lights' rapper, 45, stated in November last year that he would run for President of the United States in the next election.

Kanye West has long professed a desire to become President of the United States and has announced his campaign for 2020. He did not receive enough votes to compete against the Democrats and Republicans, but he is not giving up.

According to Metro, the fashion designer unveiled far-right broadcaster Milo Yiannopoulos as his new campaign manager in a YouTube video.

'We Need To Talk About Kanye,' a BBC Two feature-length documentary, will follow Ye's controversial presidential campaign in the 2018 US election at a time when his behavior has provoked a widespread public outcry.

It will be hosted by investigative journalist Mobeen Azhar, who will try to figure out how the Grammy-winning performer became the most famous artist of his generation while still receiving criticism.

According to producer Jeremy Lee, Kany West's documentary will debut later this year on BBC Two. It will extensively examine his intricate thinking throughout the film, followed by an eight-part podcast series.

Kanye West Faces Another Lawsuit

Meanwhile, a former instructor suing Kanye West over the private school claimed that Kanye West's Donda Academy students were failing. The singer owns a Christian prep school that has been accused of breaking several health and safety regulations, such as shutting students inside and only feeding them sushi.

According to court records, Cecilia Hailey and her daughter Chekarey Byers claim to have observed the infractions and been discriminated against because of their color. Hailey, a former teacher, has now spoken out against the school, warning parents that their children are "severely behind" and "suffering long-term challenges."

Because the Donda Academy is not certified, there needs to be formal documentation for the youngsters, according to a former staff member. She claims that pupils are checked when they leave for another school.

Among the complaints leveled against the Donda School are that all color is prohibited in classrooms and that cleaning services are prohibited. According to the LA County wrongful termination action, the two instructors who used to work at the Donda Academy claim they were fired after complaining about possible threats to pupils.

Per Mirror, the complaint also alleges that drugs were improperly handled and that no school nurse was on site. According to the complaint, there are no tables or seats for the pupils to sit on, so they must have lunch on the floor.
