The Boston Celtics reportedly won't trade Rajon Rondo for anything less than two unprotected first-round picks.  With the trade deadline looming, Boston is unlikely to make a big move because of a lack of suitors, Chris Mannix of Sports Illustrated reports.

Celtics president Danny Ainge has routinely said Boston doesn't intend to trade Rondo.  Still, speculation ensues that Ainge would trade his All-Star for the right price.

"The asking price if you can get Rondo is said to be two unprotected first rounders," Sam Smith of Bulls.com wrote on Monday.

Despite Boston being linked to trade rumors throughout the season, the deadline could pass without the Celtics making any deals.  Mannix reported the major deterrent for potential suitors is the Celtics are wanting more than some of their players - Jeff Green, Avery Bradley and Brandon Bass - are worth.

"I've had conversations with a couple of different general managers last night, and we talked a little bit about Boston and what they were trying to do at the trade deadline, and the sense I got from them was that Boston is totally overvaluing some of the players they have," Mannix said last week, via WEEI.  "They're looking for first-round picks in return for guys like Jeff Green or a guy like Avery Bradley and others and they're just not going to get it."

The NBA trade deadline is on Thursday, Feb. 20 at 3:00 p.m. ET.
