Prince Harry and Meghan Markle aim for a low profile during queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee, but is this the only reason why they keep a distance from Prince William and Kate Middleton?

During their brief visit across the pond, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry did not mingle with Prince William and Kate Middleton. And there's a reason behind it.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex visited the United Kingdom for the first time since they stood down as senior members of the British royal family and relocated to the United States in 2020. The pair remarried

Prince Harry, Meghan Markle Offer "Olive Branch" to Cambridges

The royals attended a thanksgiving ceremony at St. Paul's Cathedral last Friday to honor the reigning king, 96. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were the first to arrive, followed by Prince William and Kate Middleton. It was their first public appearance together in over two years.

Royal observers noticed that Prince William and Kate Middleton made no eye contact as they walked to their seats in the front row. Even Prince Charles was observed glancing aside as he went past the row where Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were sitting.

While several members of the royal family attended the reception at The Guildhall following the service, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry did not. They also missed the star-studded Platinum Party In the Palace on Saturday in favor of a modest celebration of their daughter Lilibet's first birthday at Frogmore Cottage.

Soon later, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, together with their two children, returned to their California home.

On June 2, the couple watched Trooping the Color from the Major General's Office. They were not asked to stand on the balcony of Buckingham Palace with Prince William and Kate Middleton since they are no longer senior working royals. They also did not participate in the carriage procession, according to Yahoo.

During their visit to the UK to commemorate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee, Prince Harry and Meghan allegedly handed the Cambridges an olive branch.

As reported by Cosmopolitan, her Majesty's 70th year on the throne was celebrated last weekend, but there was another royal celebration in order - Lilibet Diana's first birthday on June 4th. To commemorate the occasion, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are said to have had a low-key birthday celebration for their daughter at Frogmore Cottage, their previous UK residence.

A royal insider who spoke to Page Six described the Cambridges' invitation to the birthday celebration as an "olive branch," albeit the Duke and Duchess were unable to attend owing to other Platinum Jubilee responsibilities. In truth, William, Kate, and their two eldest children, Prince George, eight, and Princess Charlotte, seven, were in Wales for the day on an official visit to Cardiff Castle.

Expert: Prince Harry Wants an Apology

According to self-proclaimed royal expert Angela Levin, an enraged Prince Harry will certainly demand an apology following claims that Queen Elizabeth II and company royally snubbed him during last week's Platinum Jubilee.

"I believe he would have been very, very disappointed that he was virtually overlooked," The Sun's acclaimed biographer of Prince Harry and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, said. "He still believes he owes an apology."

"The thing that particularly stuck out for me on that day was Harry's rage - he wears his emotions on his face, and he looked utterly furious," the royal analyst said of self-destructive Prince Harry's manner during the Service of Thanksgiving at St. Paul's Cathedral last Friday.

The outspoken Levin, who reportedly spent a year with Prince Harry, 37, while writing his biography, was addressing the international photo controversy that erupted when he and wife Meghan Markle, 40, introduced their daughter and namesake Lilibet, 1, to Elizabeth for the first time last Wednesday, after flying to the UK to take part in the Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

Multiple publications reported that the couple's request for a photographer to picture the 96-year-old monarch and their daughter was rejected, with one unnamed source alleging they were told, "No chance. It was a private family gathering, "according to New York Post.
