“Arrow” had been on its Season 5 and fans just keep holding on to their arrows holding back as Adrian Chase (Josh Segarra) still torments Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell.) Yet, what the show has in store for the fiasco between Prometheus and the Emerald Archer still hypes up the fans.
According to Hidden Remote, “Arrow” Season 5 Episode 17 revealed Oliver’s secret. The episode then showed Prometheus torturing Oliver in different sorts forcing him to unveil his secret. Chase then had enough and summoned Evelyn. The surprise was then made that Evelyn is working for Prometheus.
Yet, amid the revelation, Oliver forgave Evelyn. Chase then resolved to torture Oliver more by killing Evelyn. Fortunately, she’s not dead and mentioned that it was another act of Chase all along. Oliver then had a flashback which made him confess to Chase his dark secret.
“Arrow” Episode 17 then revealed Oliver’s past wherein he kills anybody who tries to get in his way. Arrow’s biggest secret was then revealed that he takes enjoyment in killing people. Hence, Chase burned the Emerald Arrow’s Bratva tattoo to remind him of the experience.
On the bright but also dark side, an “Arrow” villain is set to make a comeback. Comic Book reported that Nick Tarabay teased on Twitter that his character Digger Harkness/Captain Boomerang might come back to the DCTV universe. “Who really misses this guy? Cause as you know....What goes around ALWAYS comes back around,” he tweeted along with a flash of Harkness’ boomerang.
To recall, Harkness first appeared as Captain Boomerang last 2014 in the “The Flash” and “Arrow” crossover. The villain was then apprehended by the two DC heroes and was placed on a prison in Lian Yu run by A.R.G.U.S. and Oliver Queen. Hence speculations say that the feud between Chase and Oliver would force him to return to Lian Yu.
Yet, no confirmation had been released regarding the return of captain Boomerang. For the meantime, fans could stay tune to “Arrow” as it airs Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
