The Toronto Raptors are looking good at the start of the NBA regular season. However, their two consecutive losses against top contenders Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors proves to be that they are missing the services of Bismack Biyombo. Rumors now are saying that they are targeting the services of 76ers Nerlens Noel or Thunder Enes Kanter.

Currently holding a 7-4 record, they are seated at 4th spot in Eastern Conference and seems to be heading to another breakout season. But with defeats with the Cavs and Warriors, they are said to be one player down to contend with them.

According to Sportsrageous, the Toronto Raptors appears to be reaching out to the Philadelphia 76ers and Oklahoma City Thunder to strike a deal to acquire Nerlens Noel or Enes Kanter. Trade scenario is suggesting that the Raptors will be offering Terrence Ross and Patrick Patterson to get either Noel or Kanter.

The 76ers continue to struggle early in the season and many believed that they will be again at the bottom of the standings. And with the team unable to reach a contract extension to Noel last October 31, speculation heated up that he will be traded anyway. And with the 76ers having an overcrowded frontcourt, many says it viable to trade Noel and get some potential player in return.

As for Kanter, he was also involved in a trade rumor last July to make room for Al Horford and convince Kevin Durant to stay with the Thunder as per stated in the report. But it never happened as Durant still choose to join the Warriors and leave the Thunder.

The Inquisitr earlier reported that Noel has been linked to the Raptors as a possible destination for him. Although Noel is still recovering from a knee surgery last October, the Raptors could still benefit from him once he is fully recovered. Having Noel will give them a young, talented and athletic center that is perfect substitute for Bismack Biyombo.

And with Jared Sullinger expected to be out for 2-3 months due to a foot injury, it makes sense for the Raptors to obtain Noel that is expected to return to several more weeks. Having him could spell the difference from being a runner-up to be a champion.
