The Miami Heat and Washington Wizards are two teams that are struggling as of late in the ongoing regular season. And recent rumors are saying that they should consider a proposed deal with John Wall, Goran Dragic, and Tyler Johnson as trade pieces

As of this moment, both teams have identical records of 2-8 after their consecutive setbacks and it seems that their season is in jeopardy early on. And with recent development on their standings, it looks logical to have a trade deal between them in order to salvage their season.

Last September, The Inquisitr already reported a trade deal between the Miami Heat and Washington Wizards. During that time, the proposed deal is a one-on-one swap between Goran Dragic and John Wall however the deal did not materialize and just fades away. Some say that the offer does not match that puts the Wizards in disadvantage and the reason for its cancellation.

And now, a new trade offer is being sent to the Wizards and this time with the additional player and a future draft pick is included. On the new proposed deal, aside from Dragic, the Heat will also send Tyler Johnson and 2017 unprotected first-round draft pick to the Wizards for Wall. This might lure the Wizard to give up Wall and proceed with the trade.

However, as per checking with NBA trade policy, one roadblock is preventing this deal from happening. Johnson just recently signed a four-year, $50 million contract with the Heat making him not eligible to be traded until such time and this could call off the deal again.

Which brings it back to the original argument, a direct swap between Dragic and Wall. Though previously it was rejected by Wizards but with the current development on their camp, this trade is something they must ponder about. But if they insist of another player in replacement for Johnson, the Heat could give up small forward Luke Babbitt and it will work under the NBA trade policy.

Nevertheless, this rumor is still speculation and none of the teams involved have confirmed the trade. The trade between the Miami Heat and Washington Wizards might not happen today but who knows John Wall and Goran Dragic might be wearing new uniform before the trade deadline.
