Miami Heat center Hassan Whiteside is in the hot seat of trade rumors nowadays. With recent struggles of his team in the ongoing season, his name was always mentioned to being traded this early. Rumors are spreading that the Boston Celtics is showing interest to acquire him.

The Celtics, who is one of the busiest team in the trade market during the offseason, is still in search for a high-quality player that could give them a formidable lineup. Though they've already got one of the biggest acquisition last summer signing Al Horford, they still felt that they still lack in some area that is needed to improve.

Having many tradeable assets to work on, Celtics general manager Danny Ainge have earlier said that if there's a viable trade deal that is coming that will make them "contenders" they will go for it. And it seems that they will try to reach out to Miami this early.

According to iSportsTimes.com, a trade deal between the Boston Celtics and Miami Heat could be in the works right now. The proposed deal is saying that the Heat will send Hassan Whiteside to the Celtics in exchange for Amir Johnson, Terry Rozier, Jonas Jerebko and a 2017 first-round pick (via Brooklyn Nets).

From the looks of it, the Celtics seems to be on the losing end of this trade by giving up three players and a future pick for one. But who will not entice to Whiteside big potential and his big improvement for the past two season? He is deemed to dominate the league in the near future at a young age of 27 and this could be what the Celtics are looking for.

But will the Heat agree to trade him? According to Ecumenical News, there is a little chance that they give away Whiteside in this juncture. The Heat already lost their three superstar - LeBron James, Dwayne Wade, and Chris Bosh - and it is logical to keep Whiteside instead and surround him with talented players in the future.

Aside from that, Whiteside just recently signed a four-year, $98 million contract with the Heat this offseason which means that he is not eligible to be traded right now. And it is obvious that the Heat management is locking up its future to him together with the other young players.

The Boston Celtics' chase to Miami Heat's Hassan Whiteside might not yield a good result but they might try as well.
