The recent shocking Brangelina split had already involved a number of other celebrities tailed with the issue. This time, Angelina Jolie's ex-husband, Billy Bob Thornton, had reportedly showed his support for the actress.

Thirteen years after deciding to end their marriage of three years, the former couple had remained friends and their frienship is still as thick as ever. The Fargo actor had revealed in an inerview that he will always support and be there for the actress whenever she needs him.

Thornton had exclusively told Entertainment Tonight that they still keep in touch and had even shared that the actress seemed 'OK' when he recently talked with her. He added, "If she needs anything, I'm here. And vice versa. And we both know that."

According to Huffington Post, Thornton had been friends with the Maleficent actress eventhough their differences before had triggered their divorce. He stated that they truly loved each other way back when they were still married and he thinks it was the reason why their friendship lasts long.

The actor added that for some couples, different thoughts about how each would want to live their lives just can't be the reason why the bond would go away. This was why he and Jolie had chosen to remain friends after all these years. But on the interview, he mentioned that they both understand that they already have their own worlds and families.

It can be recalled that the two first met on the set of their 1999 movie, Pushing Tin, and got hitched the next year. The 61-year old actor told GQ that during their marriage, he felt that he was not enough for Jolie and that he felt uncomfortable about being around rich people like the actress.

Aside from this, Thornton also mentioned about his desire to do a movie with his ex-wife's ex-husband, Brad Pitt. The media is not sure though if the actor was joking or it was just his way of meddling with the former couple's personal lives again, but he definitely told Playboy magazine that he would love to do a movie with the actor.

Additionally, he said, "I think we'd be great together. We'd play a couple of Southern guys." But he later mentioned that it is not exactly his purpose to interfere with anyone's private lives, saying that if someone is currently experiencing troubles in life, he would not talk to them first unless they want to.

Billy Bob Thornton is currently promoting his new comedy movie, Bad Santa 2. Meanwhile, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie continue to deal with custody battle of six kids in court.
