Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber have a very complicated relationship. Of course, both of them being in the Hollywood limelight is a very big factor in their complex romance.

Just recently, the "Same Old Love" singer's family reached out to the "Sorry" singer to tell him that to put an end to their romance. Bieber is also said to be forbidden to contact Gomez in any form.

Why is Selena's family so against Justin Bieber? Apparently, the "Hands to Myself" singer's family is blaming the male singer for everything that went wrong.

Everything has been quiet well for Selena Gomez. Her "Revival" album is breaking records and her "Revival" world tour tickets have been sold out in every country. Everything seems perfect. Until Gomez got involved in a nasty Instagram comment feud with Justin Bieber regarding his fans and then girlfriend, Sofia Richie.

From there, things went haywire for the female singer. Selena even tried to reach out to Justin Bieber to apologize for mingling with his personal affairs. But the "Love Yourself" singer, apparently, did not respond.

Days after, she announced that she was cancelling her tour to focus on her mental health. She cited her lupus condition as the reason for her anxiety, depression and panic attacks. However, rumors started to circulate that the singer is partying and drinking non-stop to avoid her feelings for her on and off boyfriend.

Things were definitely worse before Selena Gomez decided to seek help with her mental and emotional problems. The "Love You Like a Love Song" singer has been admitted in a mental hospital first before admitting herself to the Brookhaven rehab.

Fortunately, things are getting pretty good again for Selena Gomez. Based on the fan pictures taken during a number of occasions that she was permitted out of rehab, the singer seems to be looking better.

Sofia Richie may be out of the picture and Gomez may already be getting well. However, it seems there is still a long way to go before Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber find their way back in each other's arms.  At least, for now.
