As rumors surrounding Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant starting to heat up, many pundits believes that the Cowboys are better off without him. Having rookie QB Dak Prescott and running back Ezekiel Elliott doing a great job of leading the team to 5-1 record, Cowboys game plan seems to be working without Bryant and Tony Romo on the field.

Earlier reports have said that Cowboys coach Jason Garrett and offensive coordinator Scott Linehan have prepared a game plan by using the strength of their offensive line to compensate the loss of Bryant and Romo due to injury. And it looks like Prescott and Elliott are following the strategy leading them to five straight victories after their opening loss to the New York Giants.

And now, many believe that Bryant is dispensable and could making his way out to the team. Reports are now spreading that the New England Patriots is the best option for Bryant to go according to FOXSports.com. One analyst believe that Bryant is just bringing 'negative influence' on the Cowboys locker room and it is good to get rid of him to the team.

The report also says that there's top five reason why Patriots should make a trade for Dez Bryant.

1. A very stable front office like the Pats.

2. A veteran QB in Tom Brady.

3. A head coach with power like Bill Belichick.

4. Some draft picks to burn. Where the Pats have many aside from compensatory picks.

5. A history of wide receiver acquisitions. Having acquired receivers like Randy Moss and Chad Johnson who was previously rowdy players but turn by the team into offensive assets.

On the separate report by CBS Local, former QB Donovan McNabb have issued a statement saying that the Cowboys should set free Bryant. McNabb mentioned that Bryant is just a distraction to the team and it is better to get rid of him soon. McNabb also pointed out Bryant's immaturity of not showing up during his treatment and during an MRI check up.

But the report also says that Cowboys owner Jerry Jones have expectation that Bryant, DE DeMarcus Lawrence, and CB Orlando Scandrick would return and able to play against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Will the return of WR Dez Bryant to Cowboys lineup gave them a win? Or will the trade of Bryant to the New England Patriots pushes through?
