The much-awaited release of "Injustice 2," a DC-based video game for PS4 and Xbox On, may happen next year.

The release of a PC version however was not confirmed but, in an article published at Christian Times, NetherRealm Studio is not yet closing for the possibility.

Gaming experts believed the NetherRealm Studio's statement indicated that the release of the PC version will most likely happen. This after game producer Ed Boon teased the San Diego Comic Con 2016 participants stating that it might come after the console-version launch.

Aside from the PC version, there are also a lot of reports speculated that a mobile version of  "Injustice 2" is set to hit the market by 2017. Boon mentioned earlier that the developer of the game might be working on mobile version of "Injustice 2."

Boon is also responsible for starting a poll asking the fans if they want to have an updated version of the existing "Injustice" video game. The poll result revealed that 71 percent of the respondents want to have a brand-new gaming app.

"Injustice 2" is also believed to feature a number of new characters like "Starfire" and "Red Hood" while the characters who were introduced in the first version will be included on the roster of playable characters.

It is also expected that the players will be allowed to choose a character that they want to use on the entire adventure.

But amid rumors and speculations, NetherRealm Studio has not issue any comment on the matter. But observers believe that this will be released on March next year.
