Calvin Harris' break up with Taylor Swift has become old news now. But how does he feel about it?

There seem to be a series of comments that the Scottish DJ put up on Instagram Thursday, but they have been deleted now. He denied that he was upset. He said he was "not sad at all" and wasn't "jealous" either. Instead, Harris said he felt "free."

"I've reached a point of genuine curiosity," Harris, 32, replied after a fan asked him if he was sad. "I'm not sad at all I feel amazing right now."

Meanwhile, his 26-year-old girlfriend had just gone ahead after her 15-month relationship got over, and last week got romantically hooked up with a British heartthrob, Tom Hiddleston, 35.

Now that new boyfriend had quite a lot to say about her too. He commented: "I would describe it as a rollercoaster ride of action and spectacle and lots of laughs," Hiddleston said. "She is an absolute delight. She's actually, um...She's got such a wicked sense of humor and she's a really fun person to have around. She's really great."

How did Harris feel about Swift's new hook-up? Surprised, but not devastated, said inside sources. They explained: "Calvin was surprised to see the photos and that she had moved on so quickly. That was fast! It was surprising to him but he just wants to move on. He's a really good guy." Harris claimed that he feels free, not sad, it was reported.

However, the rumours of did-he-say-it-did-he-not is just creating a lot of hot air, but no clarity. Another source that is close to Harris denied that he had made any specific comments at all.

Hence, the hearsay has created its own controversy, as many screen shots are emerging with archived remarks. Some of them included a shot with Harris telling a fan that it was indeed he who said whatever is doing the rounds, while another explained that he didn't say anything at all.

Was the singer hacked then on Instagram? It is not clear.

Harris had taken a decision to follow his ex-girlfriend again on Instagram. Now why did he do that? One guess is as good as another, but Harris did have some interesting explanations.

"I cared too much and then I didn't care at all," Harris reportedly told one fan, when asked why he followed the singer again. "I am a real person, remember."

Meanwhile, the reason for his original split with Swift, at least, had been made clear. He said that Swift "controlled the media and this situation," adding, "I had no idea what was going on. So that kind of makes it a lot worse from my perspective."

He also allegedly told another "I'm not mad and you shouldn't be mad either," asking one of her fans "you all support her by hating me?I don't understand so explain how that works."

"I can do what I want," he wrote. "Like she can. And does."

Another fan hinted that Swift had ditched him, but Harris wrote: "Bro I didn't leave anyone and she's def not sad. It's all good."

One fan responded: "It wasn't rude of him to say that," the person, actually a Swift fan, is seen writing in one of the screengrabs. "For all, we know Taylor broke up with him to be with another man and that is quite upsetting. I would be hurt by that too. He's not being mean. He deserves to feel free while he's single and not jealous."
