Frances Bean Cobain is divorcing Isaiah Silva, her husband of less than two years.

The couple got married about 21 months ago on June 29, 2014, and the 23-year-old daughter of Courtney Love and the late Nirvana rock star Kurt Cobain has now filed for divorce from Silva, citing irreconcilable differences. They have kept a low profile for the five years they have been together, and up until now, Cobain had still not publicly acknowledged that they had gotten married.

Cobain states in the divorce documents that Silva should not be entitled to any of her famous father's estate, which is reportedly valued at $450 million. However, she is open to paying the 31-year-old rocker, who is the lead singer for a band called The Eeries, spousal support.

The two secretly married in a private ceremony, and it was reported at the time that Cobain had apparently not invited her mother to the intimate affair. Love was said to be very "sad" that she missed them exchanging their vows on arguably one of the biggest days of her daughter's life.

"She only invited a close circle of friends to the party and then phoned her mum afterwards to tell her the good news," a source said at the time. "Courtney and Frances have had a strained relationship over the years, but after tons of fall-outs they actually get on quite well now. Courtney is sad she wasn't there, but she totally understands that Frances is her own person and she's happy to let her do her own thing. Plus, Isaiah is a really nice guy."

Things between Cobain and her mother had been rocky since 2009 when she asked that her father Kurt's mother, Wendy O'Conner, and her aunt, Kimberly Dawn Cobain, become her legal guardians. It seems as though the two have been trying to repair their relationship recently.

Cobain and Love made a rare public appearance together on Monday at a Women in Creativity event in London. They were then spotted again the following day shopping. Despite their past differences, they had reconciled recently to honor Kurt with various upcoming projects.

"Tea at Claridges with @alka_seltzer666 #proudmom #London," she tweeted alongside a photo of her daughter.
