After a phenomenal first season that caught everyone by surprise, USA Network's "Mr. Robot" is hardwired for a second go around expected to arrive sometime this summer. The Golden Globe-winning drama caught the attention of TV fans last year with it unique formatting, smart subject matter and distinctive tone combined with an incredibly strong anchoring performance from lead actor Rami Malek (who also won a Golden Globe). Now the series continues to add new actors for its sophomore run.

"Mr. Robot" previously added Grace Gummer, previously seen on "The Newsroom" and (little known fact) daughter of Meryl Streep, but have now brought on rapper Joey Bada$$ and newcomer Chris Conroy.

Bada$ will play a friend of Malek's Elliot from his childhood neighborhood. His character is said to never stop talking, which can drive Elliot insane (well, more than he already is), but has a few crucial pieces of advice for Elliot. Conroy will play Derek, a man with the hots for Joanna Wellick, the power-hungry and manipulative wife of Tyrell Wellick (Martin Wallstrom).

Beyond all of the new cast members, Stephanie Corneliussen, who plays Joanna, has been bumped up to the main cast, which means we'll likely be seeing her conniving character a lot more in season two. Michael Cristofer, who took on the role of Evil Corp's malevolent CEO, will also return as a main cast member. In addition, Ben Rappaport and Tom Riis Farrell, who played Angela's ex-boyfriend Ollie and sad man Bill Harper, respectively, will also be coming back for season two.

(SPOILER ALERT)

The end of "Mr. Robot's" first season left several unanswered questions hanging in the air. Audiences want to know exactly what happened during the three days Elliot blacked out and successfully pulled off the Evil Corp hack with Tyrell (and what happened to Tyrell). Viewers also want to find out how Elliot will deal with the knowledge that Christian Slater's Mr. Robot is actually his deceased father manifested in his own mind. So many questions, not enough answers!

"Mr. Robot" is expected to return to USA Network for a second season sometime this summer.
