USA Network's "Mr. Robot" is upgrading its hardware in season two, casting Grace Gummer ("Extant," "The Newsroom") as a series regular, TVLine reports.

Gummer will play Dominique "Dom" DiPierro, a young FBI field agent looking into the Evil Corp Hack from season one. Her investigation will lead her dangerously close to fsociety and its members. Hopefully she'll be able to shed some light on the deed as season one closed without providing many answers.

Her new role is not expected to conflict with Amazon's "Good Girls Revolt," which recently received a series order. According to TVLine, her "Good Girls" role was initially created as a guest star in the pilot with the possibility of reappearances.

"Mr. Robot" received some well-deserved praise in recent weeks, winning best drama at both Golden Globes and Critics Choice Awards. Production on season two will begin this March in New York City. Season two is expected to arrive sometime this summer.
