Victoria Beckham, aka Posh Spice, is known for being one of the most fashionable women in Hollywood, with some of the tallest, and most beautiful, stilettos in the industry. But after years and years of walking around in sky-high heels, the fashion designer has decided to give up on the trendy yet sometimes painful look and take a more comfortable approach during the workday.

During her Fall 2016 show during New York Fashion Week, people quickly noticed that Beckham looked different, and it was because she was rocking a pair of white lace-up sneakers, according to People. While the outfit was cute and stylish, it definitely differed from her usual high-fashion and high-heeled look. As someone who is rarely seen in flats, it had everyone wondering what could possibly be going on, and as it turns out, we'll be seeing the 41-year-old fashionista in flats a lot more than we're used to.

"I just can't do heels anymore. At least not when I'm working," she told The Telegraph. "I travel a lot. Clothes have to be simple and comfortable...I think people saw the real me when I came out in a pair of men's trousers, a roll-neck and trainers."

This is coming from someone who has been openly obsessed with her heel collection and has even had doctors tell her in the past that she needs to give up the "addiction" because it could be hurting her health, according to Cosmopolitan. But, until now, she didn't listen.

Beckham also told the U.K.'s GMTV in 2008 that she "just can't concentrate in flats" and that she doesn't even work out because of the attire. "I'd love to go to the gym," she added. "But I can't get my head around the footwear."
