Toward the end of 2015, Mel B, a.k.a. Scary Spice, hinted that the Spice Girls could be making an epic reunion this year for their 20th anniversary. While 90s girls everywhere couldn't believe what they were hearing, one particular Spice Girl quickly shut down the possibility of a full reunion.

While a reunion with the rest of the girls might still be possible, Victoria Beckham, a.k.a. Posh Spice, has made it very clear that she will not be appearing with the Spice Girls now or any time in the future. "[She] has been very respectful about the fabulous time they had together in the past," her rep told TMZ. "However, her focus is now very much her family and fashion business."

Her rep did not comment on what this means for the rest of the group, especially since Mel B specifically said she would not perform unless everyone was in.

"I think I'm the one putting all the rumors out there," Mel B said in December, as HNGN previously reported. "To be serious, it is our 20th anniversary this year and it would be rude not to celebrate... so hopefully, something will be happening pretty soon... I can't tell you what it is yet."

She also said something very similar to Billboard in November. "Once we sort everything out, we make an announcement, but right now we're just figuring it all out," she explained. "Next year is our 20th anniversary so we're really just trying to make sure something happens."

Baby Spice also shut down rumors of a Spice Girls reunion tour this past summer.  "Nothing's happening at the moment," Emma Bunton said on her Heart FM radio show following the rumors in August. "If anything happened and it's concrete, and we decide on something, I will let you know."
