There's a new rumor about the movie "Fifty Shades of Grey" and it's not about the cast. According to the Daily Star newspaper, executives and producers are now narrowing down choices for designers to create the clothes for Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey in the movie.

Sources reportedly told the newspaper that Victoria Beckham is a front-runner to design the wardrobe for the college student and the billionaire. They also want her to make a small cameo appearance in the film, the Daily Star reports.

The 39-year-old singer-turned-fashion icon has definitely made a name for herself in the fashion industry and executives think she has what it takes to create the right look for Steele and Grey. Other names on the list include Dolce and Gabbana, Diane Von Furstenberg, Calvin Klein and Marc Jacobs.

"'Fifty Shades' is going to be more than a movie," a source told the newspaper. "We are hoping for spin-offs in fashion and music. Victoria is the front-runner."

The former "Spice Girls" member is familiar with the series. She told Glamour in an August interview that she was reading the second book and had even got her mom to read it too.

"I'm halfway through the second one. I even bought my mum the book! But every time she tries to engage in conversation about it, I kind of dodge the subject," she said. "I don't really want to talk to my mother about S&M."

Earlier E.L. James announced via Twitter that Dakota Johnson will play Anastasia Steele and Charlie Hunnam will star as Christian Grey. This is the biggest news "Fifty Shades" fans have been waiting for. Following the announcement there was some backlash over the picks. Many fans feel that neither Hunnam nor Johnson was the perfect fit for the roles.

James tweeted to her "supporters, lovers and haters" thanking everyone for their support. It's clear that "Team 50" and the executives are standing by their decision.
