Robin Williams' Napa Valley residence has been sold for $18.1 million after several price cuts, according to the Wall Street Journal.

French winemakers Alfred and Melanie Tesseron of Chateau Pontet-Canet bought the Mediterranean-style home and property and are planning to create wine from its vineyards, according to The Hollywood Reporter

The house, erected by the comedian during the early 2000s, sits on nearly 650 acres of land and features about 20,000 square feet, consisting of five bedrooms and six bathrooms. Its outdoor area consists of a tennis court, a guesthouse and a horse barn complete with riding trails.

The estate, which is located in the Mayacamas Mountains, first went onto the market back in 2012. It was originally listed for $35 million but had its price slashed several times before it was finally sold, according to Entertainment Weekly.

Cyd Greer and Joyce Rey, who both work for Coldwell Banker Previews International, represented the Williams property while William Densberger and Rob Landsness of Pacific Union represented the buyers, according to Variety.

Williams was discovered dead in his home in California in August 2014 from suicide due to asphyxia, HNGN previously reported.
