California quarterback Jared Goff has already declared for the 2016 NFL Draft, and many draft experts believe that the talented young quarterback will be the first player of his position to be taken off the board. Goff has received some high praises already, as NFL Films senior producer Greg Cosell said that he believes Goff is a better prospect than Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston, according to Dan Parr of College Football 24/7.

Winston was the top pick in the 2015 NFL Draft and has proven himself in his first season in Tampa Bay. Winston threw over 4,000 yards in his first season in the league, with 22 touchdowns to 15 interceptions. Most teams would likely be happy with those numbers for a first round quarterback, but some still have doubts about the Buccaneers quarterback and will want to see more before validating that he was worth the first pick in the draft.

"I think he's a better prospect than Jameis Winston," said Cosell, via WGFX - FM in Nashville, Tenn. "Winston had a very nice rookie season and it looks like he'll be a solid player. How good? No one can answer that at this moment." The NFL films senior producer also stated that he believes Goff also is a better overall thrower than Tennessee Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota, according to Parr.

"I think Goff fits any system. I don't think Goff is system specific," Cosell said. "I think his skill set, his throwing skill set, his looseness as an athlete, his light feet, I think he fits, theoretically, any system. He would be my choice right now (for the Browns). He could run (head coach) Hue Jackson's system no problem."

The California quarterback is clearly receiving high praises around the league, and after another incredible season with the Golden Bears, it's understandable. Goff had 4,714 passing yards with 43 touchdowns to 13 interceptions in his junior year, and he proved himself in California's bowl game against Air Force with 467 passing yards and six touchdowns. Goff will likely be the top quarterback taken off the board in the 2016 NFL Draft, and it will be interesting to see where he lands, as many believe that he will adapt to wherever he is selected.
