The Cleveland Browns have already named Hue Jackson as their next head coach, and plenty of changes are expected in Cleveland after finishing the season tied for the worst record in the NFL at 3-13. The next step is filling Jackson's staff, and the Browns are reportedly bringing back defensive coordinator Ray Horton.

The deal to bring Horton back is done, according to Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer. Horton wasn't the only big name coach to land in Cleveland on Wednesday, as Pep Hamilton and Kirby Wilson will also be joining Jackson's staff. Hamilton is expected to become the Browns' quarterbacks coach, and Wilson will coach Cleveland's running backs, according to NFL reporter Albert Breer.

While the Browns are looking to lock up their coaching staff this week, the San Francisco 49ers announced Chip Kelly as their next head coach and held a press conference on Wednesday afternoon. The newly appointed head coach in San Francisco already has his sights on his future defensive coordinator, as the 49ers have reportedly already offered Texans linebackers coach Mike Vrabel the job.

The former Steelers, Patriots, and Chiefs linebacker has had a short coaching career, but has clearly impressed both Kelly and the front office in San Francisco.  "I want them to be fearless," said Kelly about his new team, via CSN Bay Area. "Not afraid of any situation you put them in. There are going to be times when its going to be difficult and be adverse, but you have confidence based on your preparation that you'll see it through."

Vrabel certainly fills the quota of fearless for the 49ers defense, and can likely relate to players on the field as he has seen the greatest success as a player in New England. The 49ers will wait to hear from Vrabel for his decision, but it looks like the Texans' linebackers coach is on the road to becoming a defensive coordinator after only two seasons of coaching at the NFL level.
