The Samsung Galaxy S7 was a no-show at the recently concluded CES 2016. Some previous rumors have pointed to this event as a possible product launch. Now, many observers are placing their bets on a launch during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, on Feb. 22-25. For now, Samsung seems content to watch the rumor spread without confirming any detail regarding launch dates and leaked features. There is, however, the alleged Samsung Galaxy S7 unpacked event to be held on Feb. 20, according to Ival Luchkov, the man who correctly predicted a previous Samsung unpacked event.

One of the most specific, and certainly the most interesting, rumors involves the claim that the Galaxy S7 could be 10 percent cheaper than its predecessor. This is based on an early projections made by analyst Pan Jiutang, as The Inquirer reported. This is dispelled by new information that the pricing will be the same as the Galaxy S6, according to Sam Mobile's early January report.

It is also widely believed that the aesthetics of the S7 will not be radically different from the S6. It is, however, interesting to see how the rumored spec changes such as the return of expandable storage as well as larger battery could affect how the S7 will look like. A purported realistic concept of the Galaxy S7 is shown below.

Other new features include an "always on" feature that only consumes 1 percent of the battery per hour, XDA forum reported. For more information about the Galaxy S7 leaks, click here.
