Pop stars and exes Ariana Grande and Nathan Sykes have reunited on Sykes' new single, a love balled titled "Over and Over again," Billboard reported. Sykes, a former member of British boy band The Wanted, enlisted the help of his ex-girlfriend to sing vocals on the duet.

Sykes, 22, announced the release of his new single via Twitter, and Grande took to her own Twitter account to promote the new duet.

"#OverAndOverAgain by @NathanSykes ft me," the 22-year-old pop starlet wrote on Twitter. "Thanks for having me on this & congrats on the new incredible new music!"

The song is a slow piano ballad featuring sweet lyrics. Sykes sings on the first verse and chorus, then Grande comes in on the second verse. The former couple sings together on the chorus, singing the lines "I promise it won't get broken / We'll never forget this moment / Yeah, we'll stay brand new / Cause I'll love you / Over and over again."

This marks Sykes' second single since going solo after The Wanted announced its hiatus in 2015, according to Billboard. His first solo single was his 2015 hit "Kiss Me Quick," which climbed to the number one spot on the Billboard Dance Club Songs Chart last August.

Grande and Sykes have collaborated musically once before on their duet "Almost Is Never Enough," which was featured on the soundtrack for the 2013 film "The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones," Us Weekly reported. The pair began dating shortly after the song's release in August 2013 but broke up four months later due to conflicting schedules.
