The New York Giants have already interviewed six head-coaching candidates, and Cincinnati Bengals offensive coordinator Hue Jackson is expected to be the last interview that the Giants front office will conduct before making a final decision, according to Bart Hubbuch of the New York Post.

"We've seen about six great candidates," said Giants co-owner Steve Tisch, via the New York Post. "John (Mara) and I hope to resolve it by the end of the week, and I think we can." There has been speculation about the Giants targeting college football National Champion head coach Nick Saban, but the coveted collegiate coach has stated that he plans to stay put at Alabama. The Giants are expected to have an interview with Jackson this Thursday, and the Cleveland Browns have reportedly been making a big push, including a say in personnel to land him as the next head coach in Cleveland.

The Giants have interviewed Giants offensive coordinator Ben McAdoo, defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo, Lions defensive coordinator Teryl Austin, former Falcons head coach Mike Smith and Jaguars assistant head coach Doug Marrone. The Giants had interview former Bears offensive coordinator Adam Gase, but the Miami Dolphins have already named him as their next head coach.

The Giants era under Tom Coughlin came to an end following the 2015 season, and it will be interesting to see if the organization decides to look within and name McAdoo their next head coach, or go after one of the top candidates in Jackson. The Bengals offensive coordinator clearly has an interest in coaching quarterback Eli Manning and the Giants, as he wants to talk with the organization before making any decisions, according to Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News. The Giants plan to make a decision by the end of this week, but many more decisions need to be made in New York this offseason, as there is clearly a ton of work that needs to be done before they can return to being contenders again.
