The Rams are relocating to Inglewood, CA, and the Chargers have an option to join them, according to NFL Total Access. The Chargers were originally partnered to join the Raiders in Carson, but the Raiders have agreed to exit their "exclusive partnership" with them, according to Charles Robinson of Yahoo Sports. A vote is reportedly expected to pass shortly from a unanimous recommendation from the committee. The vote was 30-2 in favor of the Rams moving to Inglewood, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

The Chargers reportedly could join the Rams in Inglewood as soon as this year, or can join them within a few years after. There are still plenty of details to figure out at this point, but it looks as though all signs are pointing to the Chargers and Rams landing in Inglewood together.

The Inglewood stadium is not expected to be open until 2019, and reportedly will not make the original timeline of the start of the 2018 season. The Coliseum is expected to host the Rams for now, but there has been no agreement to host two teams as of yet, according to NFL reporter Albert Breer. Reports have just surfaced on Tuesday night though, that USC would allow two NFL teams to play in Colesium while the Inglewood stadium is built.

Chargers owner Dean Spanos seemed adamant about not wanting to join Rams owner Stan Kroenke in Inglewood, but it looks as though Cowboys owners Jerry Jones' proposal was considered the best case for the NFL, at least by a majority of NFL owners. NFL Network has already changed the Rams roster page from St. Louis Rams to Los Angeles.
