Arkansas running back Alex Collins is reportedly expected to declared for the 2016 NFL Draft, according to Charlie Campbell of Walter Football. The Razorbacks running back led the team in rushing this year and is considered by many one of the top-five running backs in the upcoming 2016 draft.

Collins has been consistently dominant for the Razorbacks and has rushed over 1,000 yards every season since arriving at Arkansas. The 5-foot-11, 215-pound running back has rushed for 1,392 yards and scored 17 touchdowns in his junior year.

Collins has improved his blocking and his receiving skills as a junior, and teams around the league reportedly view him as a second-day draft pick, according to Campbell. Collins has had to shoulder the load this season, as running back Jonathan Williams was lost prior to the season following a foot surgery.

Arkansas' junior running back has reportedly already started interviewing agents for the draft process and has proven his ability to adjust quickly at the collegiate level, according to Campbell. Collins may not have the speed NFL scouts are looking for, but he is a physical back that could make one team very happy on the second day of the 2016 NFL Draft. Plenty of talented running backs are found in later rounds, and Collins could fit that mold perfectly if he lands with the right organization.
